Many attorneys completely eschew discussing tax issues with clients, but identifying the presence of tax issues can be a benefit to clients even if they do not perform the full or final analysis themselves. This seminar will help participants understand the broad outlines of the tax issues that their clients may currently encounter in the situations that drove them to seek counsel and so may help participants guide clients to seek the full suite of services they require. The attendee will learn about the current pertinent resources to conduct in-depth research.
At the end of the seminar, the participant will be able to identify circumstances in her or his own practice when the facts require a deeper investigation into possible tax exposures in a broad range of business and personal circumstances.
All attorney attendees will receive one (1) New York Skills credit.
RSVP Deadline: Monday, February 17, 2020 Suggested Contribution: $20
