The 19th Amendment to the Constitution was passed by Congress on June 4, 1919. A little over a year later, on August 18, 1920, it was ratified. Seneca Falls, NY, home to the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, was the site of the First Women’s Rights Convention on July 19, 1848.
