New York Legal Librarians Fall Roundtable meetup

Cooley LLP’s Hudson Yards office was the meeting point of a law librarians roundtable get together on October 12, 2023 focusing on 21st century cataloguing best practices as well as showcasing the library portal as a knowledge management and information hub. Soutron Global moderated the event and also allowed for Kansas City- based information professional Brian McCann of Stinson LLP to share how his information team has utilized Soutron’s database to leverage and maximize their information resources to be made readily available to Stinson’s attorneys.
Librarians and information professionals discussed making available electronic and online resources via practice group SharePoint pages as well as live links via the traditional online library catalog. Participants shared best practices regarding deleted historical records, implementing pre-selected catalog records provided by vendors, notes on updating practices for print office copies in attorney home offices, etc.
